Declan grew up in Evanston, IL and got his start in campaigns while attending Carleton College. He worked in the field on congressional and municipal races in Minnesota, Texas, and New York before moving on to campaign management in D.C. and Virginia. Declan lives in Washington, D.C. with his cat Ash. When he isn’t working he can be found reading speculative fiction novels, playing Dungeons & Dragons, or watching reality TV (mostly Survivor).
