Leigh Friedman

Leigh got her start as an organizer for Pramila Jayapal’s first congressional campaign in 2016, then went on to work for People's Action’s communications and digital organizing teams. She became fascinated with storytelling as a tool to build people-power and reoriented her path toward full-time creative production. After graduating from the Institute for Documentary Filmmaking at George Washington University in 2020, she has produced and edited video and motion graphic content for public media, agencies, and non-profit clients.
